Our Lady of the Lakes has provided an excellent learning atmosphere as well as a safe environment for students since our founding in 1956. We are unique as we are one of the few co-ed schools educating students, preschool through 12th grade, on one campus in Oakland County. Just think about it, your child could begin his or her academic career as a preschooler and graduate a Laker. Now that’s being a “Laker for Life”! The transitions from early childhood learning through elementary, middle, and on to high school is an experience unmatched to any other. Did you know that 100% of our graduates continue on to college or the military?
As a Catholic parish school, we are deeply aware of the traditions of a Catholic education, and as such strive to provide an educational experience grounded in gospel values. We teach a strong core curriculum complimented by Music, Band, Art, Drama, Technology, Spanish, and Physical Education. We are fortunate to be able to utilize Clarkston Community Schools Shared-Services, and are blessed to have Clarkston teachers as part of our staff. The Waterford Public School District provides transportation to families living in Waterford School District as well as special services for Our Lady of the Lakes students. These include testing, teacher consultant services, and speech and language services.
Faith formation is at the heart of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Parish School. From the high school through the elementary level, we are active in helping others in our school, community and beyond. We participate in hosting Red Cross Blood Drives, baking pies for Manna House, collecting coats for those in need, supporting the Clarkston Lighthouse, giving to animal shelters, and so much more. We will continue to touch the lives of many with our service projects and outreach programs.
When you join Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Parish School, you become a part of this unique family. The tone and feel of our school community is exceptional with God at the center. We pride ourselves in family oriented values, faith, and a sense of community. Your family would benefit from this “Laker” experience on various levels.
