Laker2Laker Directory!!
Due to the
positive response received from the parish community and Parish
Council, a Laker2Laker directory has been compiled.
This is a database containing the names and contact information
for businesses and services that OLL parish members either own or
work for.
Focus would be on
commodities and services that most of us use already, but given the
lousy and uncertain economic conditions, as a community we may be
able to use the companies owned by or employing our fellow
parishioners, and in turn helping to keep our fellow members
employed.
The list of probable categories of products/services will certainly
be large, but would encompass most of the items that most households would
have a need for, such as: Accountants, Financial Advisors, Insurance,
Auto Repair/Sales, Landscapers, Electricians, Carpenters/handymen, Plumbers,
Lawyers, Realtors, Tutors, Beauticians, Painters, Store owners, Medical
Professionals, etc
By providing such
a database, with no cost to the businesses or our parish, it will at
the very least, let the OLL community be aware that by choosing the
companies that our fellow OLL members get their livelihood from, for
items that we already purchase anyway, maybe we could as a community
make a small difference and help each other out.
The next step is for any interested business to complete and return
an information form.
The form is available, and can be obtained by
sending an email to
laker2laker@comcast.net.
The form
will be emailed to you, and when returned will be incorporated into
the directory.
In addition to interested businesses, any parish
member who desires to receive a copy of the directory upon
completion, or would like some additional information, please send
an email to the email address above, and you will be
added to the distribution list.
